the middle top screw on the back of it is overtorqued on mine I stripped it a little bit so it is my fault for losing the screw when I get it out.

In my asus tuf f15 2021 model what die like component covered with the small copper heatsink plate under the right side fan, near the memory slot. Does this also need to be thermal paste/putty? What is this component?

I opened the laptop to upgrade my RAM and when I closed it the touchpad doesn’t right click. It works but the right click does not, I can only press it with my two fingers for the touchpad to work. I don’t really know what could be the problem, I closed it well and I tightened the screws a lot.

That is disappointing. I love(d) Lenovo. Durable, good looking, upgradable (to some extend), repairable... And they were with higher pricetag for that. I still have somewhere functional C200 (which still had IBM logo) that had a special door for cleaning fan. But now... soldered RAM? One internal battery, so I cannot swap empty battery? And the insides are... just ugly. It looks like it was not engineered, but quickly put together in MS paint.

Have been using 830 G9 for a while now. Amazing machine. Make sure you buy with at least 16GB RAM. The SIM card/SD card tray is a best add on. Display is good too. HP's version of MacBook Air M1.

Hey everyone, jumping in on this review. I just wanted to share my experience with the MSI Sword 15 A12UCX because I'm having freezing issues while gaming (Valorant and Assassin's Creed Valhalla) too. Here's what happened to me: Bought the laptop and got freezing on the second day of playing. Thought it was a fluke, but it's happening more frequently now (over 5 times). Took it back to the store: First, they did a clean format (reinstall of Windows). No change. Then, they swapped my 2x 8GB RAM for a single 16GB RAM. Still froze. Finally, they sent it to MSI for repairs, which will take 2-3 weeks. My concern is similar to yours - will they just fix it and send it back, or will I get a replacement? Honestly, a repaired laptop wouldn't give me much peace of mind. If anyone else has had similar experiences with this model or gotten a replacement, please chime in!

Can you access the fans for cleaning from dust without taking off the whole cooling system and reapplying the thermal paste and pads? In general, I think in all those videos that's the number one thing that is lacking. Other than that, thanks for useful content.

where is the wifi card on this model? I don't see it anywhere and I need to replace mine. I just got the laptop, 19 4060 GPU but the wifi is horrid.. bought a replacement wifi card but don't see where it installs on this video.
